Joint Stock Company “Chepetsky Mechanical Plant” is a part of the Fuel Company TVEL of the State Corporation ROSATOM. The Plant is located on the north of Udmurt Republic in Glazov town. The Plant has been successfully working in its industry sector for sixty five years. Nowadays, ChMP is one of the leaders among the world producers of zirconium and zirconium alloys.

At present ChMP, JSC is the only national and one of the largest world plants that manufactures zirconium and zirconium alloys products. The Plant is a leader among the world producers of natural and depleted uranium, calcium metal. The Plant is one of the key enterprises involved into nuclear fuel production chain for nuclear-power engineering.
In addition, the Plant manufactures high-purity niobium metal, zirconium oxide, and technical ceramics based on zirconium oxide, oxides and carbonates of rare-earth metals. The Plant developed manufacturing of electrolytic hafnium and low-temperature superconducting materials (SCM), titanium and stainless steel rolled products.
The quality of products manufactured by the Plant is confirmed by the following awards received by ChMP: the “Order of the Red Banner of Labour”, the “Order of Glory” – the highest Russian award of public recognition, and the Russian Federation Government Quality Awards in 1998 and 2004 for achievements in the field of quality. Due to modern technologies the Plant improves the quality of its products without environment pollution. The Plant has certified Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
